Trade Update and Status Report for
Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has updated its Trade Update for Hurricane Katrina and its Port Status report for Hurricane Rita.
The major change reflected in the Hurricane Katrina Trade Update is that the Port of New Orleans is now accepting entries and entry summaries. The major change in the Hurricane Rita Port Status Report is that the Port of Lake Charles is now operational. (See below for full details.)
