CBP Updates its List of

NVOCC Sea AMS Participants

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted to its Web site an updated list of non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC) Sea Automated Manifest System (AMS) participants.

(CBP’s list of NVOCC Sea AMS participants is updated as of July 19, 2005.)

also available from CBP’s Web site are (i) a list of Air AMS carrier participants and their associated ports (updated as of December 10, 2004), and (ii) a list of Rail AMS carrier participants and their associated ports (updated as of December 2002).

CBP notes that all Sea AMS participants are required to be automated and therefore a detailed listing of Sea AMS participants and their discharge ports is no longer necessary.

(See ITT’s Online Archives or 07/07/05 news, (Ref: 05070725), for previous BP summary on the availability of these AMS participant lists.)

New Individual AMS Participants Also Announced in Administrative Messages

CBP also announces to the trade community the addition of individual sea, air, and rail AMS participants, as well as NVOCC Sea AMS participants through the issuance of ABI administrative messages.  BP summarizes those ABI administrative messages periodically in International Trade Today.

CBP’s three lists of NVOCC sea, air, and rail AMS participants and their associated ports available at
