Bill of Lading Format in FDA’s
Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI)
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued an ABI administrative message from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding the bill of lading format in FDA’s Prior Notice System Interface (PNSI).
PNSI Allows Bill of Lading to Consist of 16 Characters (Including Issuer Code)
The message states that PNSI allows for the bill of lading transmission to be up to a maximum of 16 alpha-numeric characters.
