“Staged Entry” Fill Rates in 2005 for
2004 Quota Overshipments and
China 222, 349/649, 350/650 Safeguard Overshipments
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted to its Web site a notice stating that the fill rates for textiles and apparel subject to staged entry in 2005 will be available daily on the Critical List Report.
(CBP has been directed to deny entry until February 1, 2005 of all shipments exported in 2004 that exceed 2004 quota limits from (i) World Trade Organization (WTO) members and (ii) non-WTO members with bilateral textile agreements expiring on December 31, 2004.
